Honk...

                                                          ...if you like goose eggs.

Girl goose laid a second gargantuan egg and Bruce decided that they looked like breakfast to him.  He cracked them onto the griddle and they sizzled away -- just like chicken eggs.  But really big.  Then, like Fred and Wilma Flintstone, we sat down to a game of cribbage and a breakfast of  dinosaur  goose eggs.  Delicious.

  1. Your goose eggs look good.!!
I have to say,I have never tasted one, this is my mothers fault.
It is strange how we are influenced in our childhood into liking or hating certain things,by our mothers.
My father liked goose eggs, but one day he got sick after eating one, from that day on,my mother instilled in us the notion that they were poison.!!
Even though I know they are not,I can not bring myself to eat one.!!!
I have enjoyed reading through your posts again....sorry I have been away for so long.
    Enjoy your week
    Carolyn.

  2. I can understand about your mother and the goose eggs -- my own mother once got sick on duck eggs and never would touch another one. I must admit that I had a moment's hesitation about eating that egg -- all that yoke! But it was fine (thank goodness).
I'm so glad to hear from you again. :)
