The Great Gopher War -- Enter the Snakes
It's official: a medium-sized garter snake can take down and eat a large-sized gopher. It's so lovely to have reinforcements show up.
Bruce was the cameraman for this one. Once upon a time I would have felt sorry for the little furry guy being swallowed headfirst. No longer. I'm now Team Snake's most avid cheerleader (and very happy it's a garter snake and not a rattler).
Nice picture - mildly gruesome but a good shot for sure! So glad you have more help with the invasion.
