Today a cold wind came up and the temperature has gone down by almost 20 degrees. I'm so happy that Bruce and I made the time to go to Big Trees on Sunday when the weather was so gentle.Here are some pictures. What I wish I could include was some sort of record of the fragrance of the forest -- we were bathed in the delicious scents of pine needles, water, rich earth and soil. It was like falling into a delicious forest soup!
Oof -- I have so much more to say and show, but the night has caught up to me and it's time for bed. More tomorrow...
