Nothing quite as seasonally jarring as planting pansies on Halloween week. However, tomorrow we're expecting rain (!!!), so wanted to get as many plants in the ground as possible. With luck, they'll get a good soak.
It's probably a bit much to ask that we actually get some water in the large hole that is our pond, it sure would be nice to get the start of a puddle down there.
So I think my rain dance worked... :-D And pansies remind me of Mitford!!
ReplyDeleteWell, now that we know that it's you that brought down the wet stuff --- git on out there and keep dancing! Tonight we're only up to 0.30", but the radar shows a big band of green crawling its way to Frogpond. Oh, and I was just thinking that it's about time for me to reread the entire Mitford series from beginning to end again. I saw the latest book at Costco last weekend...it looks good!
