Getting Ready for Yosemite

Up early to plan our Yosemite trip today.  It's hard to believe that a storm system is moving in -- the sky has an almost transparent layer of clouds, the leaves on the trees barely flutter and the air is cool and mild.  For all my longing for the arrival of autumn and winter, I do wish it could have held off for just one more week.  Another one of life's little jokes.  So as I fret about Friday's fieldtrip, I just keep repeating my new mantra to myself:  "It's an adventure.  It's an adventure.  It's an adventure."  (Hmm, just hoping not too much of an adventure...)
